Geographical Coordinates Microdata

Microdata for geographical coordinates identifies a specific location in the global geographic coordinate system. A Geo microdata item can be used as the value of a property of another microdata item, such as a Business or Organization.

This is an actual working example of the Geographical Coordinates microdata example code below.


Item type:

latituderequiredThe latitude, in decimal degrees, north or south of the equator.
longituderequiredThe longitude, in decimal degrees, east or west of the Prime Meridian, an imaginary line which runs from the North Pole to the South Pole and goes through Greenwich, London, England in the United Kingdom.
